The work is
everyone's.

A movement for progress is not built by one person. It is built by the people who decide to show up — in their communities, their professions, and their country.

Common questions

Before you sign up.

The most common questions from supporters, organisers, and partners — answered plainly.

Is the City Boy Movement a political party? +
No. The movement is a citizens' organisation focused on development, unity, and practical progress. It is not affiliated with any political party, and supporters hold any political view they choose.
What does it cost to join? +
Nothing. Supporter membership is free. Donations are welcome but never required — the commitment that matters most is your time and your voice in your community.
How much time does volunteering take? +
As much or as little as you can give. Local chapters organise around members' availability — some volunteers give an hour a month, others several hours a week. You tell your chapter what works for you.
Can I host a chapter in my state or LGA? +
Yes — we are always looking for professionals, students, and community leaders willing to host. The application form is the first step, followed by a short conversation with the regional organising team.
How does the movement fund its work? +
Programmes are supported by a mix of institutional partnerships, aligned private contributions, and grassroots fundraising. A transparency brief is published annually to all supporters.
Do you work with businesses and institutions? +
Yes. Businesses, industry associations, and civil-society organisations aligned with the vision can partner on specific programmes — from skills pathways to community initiatives. Use the "Partner" path on this page.
Will you contact me often? +
Sparingly. Supporters receive one monthly brief by default. If you opt in to local organising, you'll hear from your chapter lead for events and opportunities in your area — nothing more.
Or get in touch directly

If the form isn't enough.

For press, speaking, partnership, or institutional enquiries — the office is always open. A short note is enough to start the conversation.
